The Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for the position of 

Tenure Track Assistant Professor in "Statistics and Data Science",

to begin as soon as possible.  The position is a W2 fixed-term (6-year) tenure-track professorship with the possibility of promotion to a tenured W3 professorship.  

The professorship will be assigned to the Department of Mathematics of the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology.  While all areas of specialization in the field will be considered, the successful candidate is expected to pursue an innovative research program focused on the development/analysis of modern statistical methodology.
