Ethel Newbold Prize 2025 Awarded to Po-Ling Loh
Details
We are pleased to announce that the Ethel Newbold Prize 2025 has been awarded to Po-Ling Loh from the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics (DPMMS), University of Cambridge.
As part of the award, the recipient will be invited to give a talk at the upcoming Bernoulli World Congress, which will take place in The Hague in October 2025.
The Itô Prize, awarded by the journal Stochastic Processes and their Applications, honors a paper that has significantly advanced the theory or applications of stochastic processes. The prize, was named after Professor Kiyosi Itô, a pioneer in the field of probability theory, known for his groundbreaking work on stochastic calculus.
The award will be presented at the upcoming SPA conference in Wrocław, Poland, from July 14–20, 2025, where Minmin Wang will deliver the Itô Lecture.
We warmly congratulate Minmin Wang on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to her lecture at the conference!
